SY11) ISC Symposium l: Cutting edge MRI-based neuroscience research (Neuroradiology) (English)   Room E (4F)
Chairs: Ze Wang (Temple University, USA)
Jongho Lee (Seoul National University, Korea)
Session Overview MRI provides a versatile approach to non-invasively look at the brain with high spatial and temporal resolution and in multimodalities. Over the years, this ever-since rising field has seen various cutting edge extensions to many aspects. For example, MRI and fMRI has been extensively combined with neuro-modulation tools to probe brain function and treatment effects; the newest advances in machine learning especially deep learning have been introduced to discover the brain-behavior or between modalities relationship. The goal of this session is to provide an overview of the latest progress made in this cutting-edge frontier by talks given by world leaders.

Session Overview In the era of high cardiovascular disease (CVD) incidents about 30% of mortality causes, screening of CVD is significantly demanded. This cardiovascular session covers screening techniques and daily screening results for cardiovascular diseases. Both technical and clinical components are introduced. Target audience will be both PhDs and MDs.
